The Art of Healing

NTU's Health and Wellbeing Day will explore the theme ‘The Art of Healing’. NTU staff, students and the general public are welcome to attend and engage in a variety of presentations which will consider physical and mental health and wellbeing. As well as talks, there will be the opportunity to take part in some activities such as mindfulness, yoga and acupressure and hand massage sessions.

Event details
The aim of this event, organised by Dr Stephanie McArdle and Dr John Rumbold, is to engage, empower and equip attendees in 'The Art of Healing', whether from physical or mental trauma or illness. World leading academics will be presenting at the event, however, the content is aimed at a general audience.
Speakers from a range of fields and backgrounds will be talking on topics including:
- Integrative and complimentary medicine
- Mental health and sleep
- Nutrition
- The benefits of sport
You'll also have the opportunity to explore a number of stalls and demonstrations throughout the day.
This event is free to attend, however registration is required. Lunch is fully booked but please feel free to bring your own provisions or alternatively there is a small shop on site where snacks and beverages can be purchased.
