Discover tales from Nottingham Castle's fascinating history in a talk with local historian David Young.

David will bring to life 600 years of the Castle’s heritage from William the Conqueror to the destruction of the medieval castle in the 17th century.

This event takes place at Nottingham Castle, Lenton Road, Nottingham NG1 6EL.

Cost: £6 – this enables access to the talk and includes entry to Nottingham Castle, valid for the rest of the year. Booking is essential as places are limited.
This event is free for Nottingham Castle Annual Pass holders. You'll need to bring proof of this with you to gain entry to the Castle on the day. Failure to do this will result in you having to pay the full price entry fee (£12).

  • 12.45 pm pm meet at Newton reception, NTU City Campus
  • 1 pm leave promptly, and walk to Nottingham Castle together
  • 1.30 pm enjoy the historic talk at Nottingham Castle
