Join NTU Arts for this guided visit to local landmark Nottingham Castle. Discover 600 years of the Castle's heritage in a fascinating talk from expert David Young, then explore the castle, museum and grounds at your leisure.

This event is only open to NTU and Confetti HE students.
Discover tales from Nottingham Castle's fascinating history in a talk with local historian David Young.
David will bring to life 600 years of the Castle’s heritage from William the Conqueror to the destruction of the medieval castle in the 17th Century. After the talk, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Castle, museum and grounds at your leisure.
Timings
- 1 pm meet at Newton reception, NTU City Campus
- 1.15 pm leave promptly, and walk to Nottingham Castle together
- 2 pm enjoy the historic talk at Nottingham Castle
Tickets
This trip provides you with a discounted Nottingham Castle annual pass for just £7.50 (usually £15). After this initial payment you'll be able to visit for free for the next 12 months. Tickets are limited so please only book if you’re able to attend. Non-attendance may result in your access to future activities being restricted.
If you're already a Nottingham Castle annual pass holder, this event is free but you still need to book your place. You'll need to bring proof of your annual pass with you to gain entry to the Castle on the day. Failure to do this will result in you having to pay the full price entry fee (£15).
The TicketSource reference/confirmation that you will receive from NTU Arts is not your ticket for entry to Nottingham Castle. Tickets will be issued on arrival at the Castle.
