Event details

For our first session back we’ll be joined by Amy Huskisson, leading a session all about the importance of resilience as a Female Founder.

Being a female founder isn’t for the faint-hearted, it comes with challenges, uncertainty, and the ultimate difficulty of balancing priorities. It can demand more than just determination and motivation, but often, plugging into our resilience—that is buildable.

In this talk, we’ll look at five key components of resilience:

  • Adaptability: Stay flexible and find opportunities in the unexpected.
  • Confidence: Strengthen your belief in yourself and your ability to succeed.
  • Meaning & Purpose: Reconnect with what drives you to keep going when the going gets tough.
  • Social Support: Build a network that truly has your back.
  • Core Health: Prioritising sleep, nutrition, and self-care to sustain your energy and focus.

About Amy Huskisson: AV Wellbeing founder Amy is on a mission to help more organisations support their staff with their mental health and wellbeing.
