Join NTU Faith and NTU Arts in the Global Lounge, City Campus for this free Easter festival celebration. No booking required.  Open to NTU students and staff only.

This activity is only open to NTU staff and students.

Join NTU Faith and NTU Arts in the Global Lounge, City Campus, to celebrate the Easter festival.

Sharing the Christian perspective of what the Easter story means, this event will feature guest speakers, faith ambassadors and the NTU Christian chaplain.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to take part in some arts and crafts activities associated with Easter with NTU Arts and NTU Maker Club and games hosted by the Global Lounge.

Alternatively, come along to the Easter Celebration at Clifton Campus on Thursday 3 April  11 am - 12.30 pm.

Guest Speaker - Sam Watkins-Smith

Sam leads the student ministry at Trinity Church Nottingham, located just up the road from Trent City Campus. He is passionate about helping students explore faith in Jesus and experience the love, joy, and peace of the Christian faith.

Sam moved to Nottingham to study engineering, and after graduating, he stuck around to train as a Priest in the Church of England. He now lives in the north of Nottingham with his wife, Millie, and son August, where he loves to drink good coffee and go running!

  • Why Easter remains relevant in contemporary times – Sam Watkins-Smith – 1.15pm
  • Easter reflections - Faith Ambassadors - 1.35 pm
  • Audience discussions and questions - Robina Din - 1.45 pm
  • Easter Arts and Crafts with NTU Arts and NTU Maker Club and refreshments - 2 pm  - 4 pm
    • Willow basket weaving with NTU Maker Club
    • Easter Card making, wooden egg painting and acrylic tile painting
    • Easter Quiz and egg hunt
  • Close - 4 pm
