Join Tracy Lowe online every second Wednesday of the month for our free staff book club.
Tracy is an Academic Skills Tutor, working with the Academic Engagement Team within Libraries Learning Resources. She has worked for NTU libraries for over 10 years and loves her job (her words!). She loves books; buying them, reading them, reviewing them, sharing them and talking about them. Join Tracy to chat about our book of the month and enjoy some general book chat too.

Our book for April — The Machine Stops by EM Forster
The Machine Stops is a science fiction short story by E. M. Forster. Initially published in 1909, the story, set in a world where humanity lives underground and relies on a giant machine to provide its needs, predicted technologies similar to instant messaging and the Internet.
