Event details

Join us to find out what cyber resilience means for you and your business, and how to access free resources and help from The East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre.

If you use a laptop or phone to run your business, rely on email or social media, store customer details or take payments online, cyber resilience is someting you should be thinking about

Our guest, Vicki Walker from The East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre will explain what cyber resilience means for everyday businesses, why it is important, and what simple steps can make a real difference.

Most importantly, she will show where you can access trusted, fully funded help and resources available to support small businesses. No jargon, no scare stories and no sales pitch. Just practical guidance to help you protect the business you have worked hard to build.

The East Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre (EMCRC) is a collaboration between police, business and academia working together to protect our SME organisations against the ongoing threat of cyber crime.

The Cyber Resilience Centre model is acclaimed by the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) and is replicated across the country in each region, forming a thriving network of police-led, business-focused Cyber Resilience Centres, each delivering essential fully-funded cyber resilience services, guidance and knowledge.

Vicki Walker, Community Outreach Lead

Vicki joined the EMCRC in June 2024 as Community Outreach Lead. She has a strong background in sales and delivering excellent customer service and is primarily from a construction material background.
