ReFashioning Futures 2026 provides a dedicated platform for postgraduate students to present academic, creative and practice‑based work that reimagines the future of fashion and textiles. The conference welcomes contributions across four thematic areas: creative and critical methodologies, circular and regenerative systems, digital futures, and cultural and social dimensions of fashion.
Across two days, delegates will take part in presentations, creative showcases, poster sessions and panel discussions. The conference promotes developmental research, enabling early‑stage ideas, speculative work and emerging findings to be shared in a supportive environment. Attendees will benefit from peer feedback, professional insight and opportunities to build a research network shaping the next era of fashion scholarship.

City Campus is located in Nottingham city centre with limited on-site parking. Delegates are encouraged to use city centre public car parks (Trinity Square, Victoria Centre or Talbot Street), all within a 5–10 minute walk of the venue.
Travel Info:
The venue is easily accessible by public transport. Nottingham Train Station is a 15‑minute walk or a short tram ride to the ‘Nottingham Trent University’ stop. The conference venue is located on NTU’s City Campus.
