Nottingham Civic ExchangeWorkshops
29 April 2019
5 pm - 7.30 pmThe Department of Politics and International Relations at NTU, Nottingham Women’s Centre and Nottingham Civic Exchange have joined together to hold a panel debate with prospective political candidates and leaders. Following the publication of the Women’s Centre’s Manifesto which was supported by academic and student input, the team wanted to provide a space to invite political candidates to debate the issues and share their ideas for the future direction of Nottingham. This event will explore: the issues Nottingham women are facing, the political solutions proposed by local parties and the Women’s Centre, and how can civil society encourage positive changes through local campaigning, political engagement and community organising. Audience members are encouraged to bring their questions for the panel.
