The Responsible Car Wash Scheme (RCWS) has launched a pilot project, funded by the Home Office, to test the effectiveness and value of introducing licensing for car wash businesses. The pilot is based on a RCWS accreditation scheme for hand car washes to ensure these businesses treat employees, customers and the environment fairly.
