Writer in Residence social media competition - share your NTU experiences with #DearNTU

Our Writer in Residence Bridie Squires wants to hear from students about their best NTU experiences. The entries will help her to develop a spoken word commission for performance at this year’s graduation ceremonies.

Bridie wants to find out what you love most about studying at NTU, including:

  • Your academic study, including work you’ve created.
  • Work placements or internships you’ve completed.
  • International exchanges or trips you’ve been on.
  • Groups, teams or activities you’ve been part of via Sport, Music, Volunteering or an NTSU Society.
  • The people you’ve met and the friends you’ve made.

Imagine that NTU is a living, breathing human and send them a message to say what have been your best experiences together.

  1. Create a new Instagram post (not story)
  2. Tell us about your best NTU experience using 1-4 photos / videos and a maximum of 150 words.
  3. Include #DearNTU somewhere in your post and tag @NTUcreated
  4. Check that your account isn’t set to private (in Privacy and Security settings).
  5. Share before midnight on Friday 7 June 2019.

What’s in it for you?

Bridie will be awarding prizes based on the creativity, insight, and honesty of entries, and you could win:

1st prize – £50 intu voucher
2nd prize – £30 intu voucher
3rd prize – £20 intu voucher
