How does my business get involved?

To take advantage of the funding on offer, please email us with your business details, email address and contact telephone number.

We will put you in contact with the Industry Engagement team who will support you through the role submission process. All roles, duties and responsibilities need to reflect those of someone at graduate level. The team can also provide full guidance on job titles and suitable roles.

Case study

Diversity, a Creative Digital Marketing Agency from Nottingham, has been working with NTU for nearly eight years. Simon Elliott, Managing Director, says it has been a long and fruitful relationship.

Prior to engaging with NTU, Diversity would typically ask for 3-5 years of industry experience when recruiting account management roles. At the time, their management team was underwhelmed by local talent and reached out to NTU in the hope of exploring alternative avenues for recruitment.

Since then, our Graduate Internment Scheme has helped Diversity fund and hire numerous graduates. One NTU alumna worked her way up to become a director of the business in just seven years.

Alexandra Mihut began her journey with Diversity after taking part in the Graduate Internship Scheme during her studies. After graduating from NTU in 2017, she returned to Diversity and has since progressed from Marketing Executive to Account Manager.

Engaging with NTU on these types of short internships has been hugely beneficial to Diversity’s operations. It has provided an option to “try before you buy” and helped lessen the risks of hiring candidates with unproven industry experience.

The next deadline to submit roles is 2 July 2021, with the Graduate Internship Scheme starting on 2 August 2021, concluding on Friday 10 September.
