Nottingham Business School alumna Eleanor Long wins 'Rising Star Award' in the Great British Businesswoman Series

Nottingham Business School are delighted to announce that Eleanor Long has been awarded the 'Rising Star Award' for leading the way in business.

The Great British Businesswoman Award showcases the business role models, advocates and mentors, as well as the inspirational women leading businesses and achieving new heights in business. This award is a year-round programme of engagement, delivering touch points throughout the year to support and champion businesswoman. The award focus is on community and collaboration by bringing together those who make it their business to inspire female business leaders and are looking to support, celebrate and mentor the next generation via the winners, judging panel and supporters.

Eleanor commented on her achievement:

"Beyond honoured and lost for words! There were so many fantastic women to be celebrated at this event! I am so proud and humbled to have won this award at the Great British Businesswomen of the Year Awards! I’ll continue to be passionate, champion social mobility, disrupt, and drive forward initiatives to give young people opportunities."

Eleanor was nominated for her role at Rolls-Royce as an Early Careers Business Partner (EMEA & APAC), where she is passionate about establishing and attracting a diverse talent pipeline and assisting individuals in reaching their full potential while delivering business.

It is fantastic to see Ellie recognised for her work supporting young people starting their careers through the various talent programmes she has responsibility for within Rolls Royce, and previously E.On. Her focus on improving social mobility is inspiring and echoes the work we are doing within Nottingham Trent University. We are incredibly proud of the career she is forging for herself, and we look forward to celebrating her future successes with her.
