Nottingham School of Art & Design students here at NTU have work showcased in windows of city centre businesses.

The winners in the Photography category of Nottingham's Young Creative Awards 2021 have had their work showcased in the windows of Nottingham city centre businesses throughout October. Work included that of current second year BA (Hons) Photography student Rosie Baird, and 2021 BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion graduate Fioralmpa Banousi.

Rosie spoke about having her work showcased “It felt incredible, I have never seen any of my work on such a large scale. And it was nice to know so many people from the city got to see my work!”

This was a celebration of local talent organised by the Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID), to highlight the work produced by the young people in our city. The Young Creative Awards encouraged students to address important themes including gender, racism, stereotypes, mental health, homelessness, and the impact of COVID-19 through their skills. A big congratulations again to Rosie and Fioralmpa, and all those who entered the Young Creative Awards 2021.
