The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is the world’s leading and largest professional body of management accountants. Its members and students operate in 192 countries, working at the heart of business. CIMA members and students work in a selection of industry sectors including, commerce, the public sector, and not-for-profit organisations. CIMA work closely with all stakeholders and sponsors leading-edge research, updating its qualification, professional experience requirements and continuing professional development to ensure it remains the employers’ choice when recruiting financially trained business leaders.

The CIMA Excellence Awards were launched to recognise the hard work of Academic Partners who have worked continuously to equip CIMA-qualified graduates and students for future-ready careers. The award highlights the high-quality of teaching, research, and learning in accounting education at NBS.

We are delighted to be recognised by CIMA at their recent Awards where NTU were awarded a Global High Distinction and Campus of the Year 2021. This recognises the achievements of our students and our congratulations go to them. We have a strong, long-standing relationship with CIMA and we will continue to work closely with them to provide both experiential learning and extra-curricular opportunities for our students.
