Introduction:
Developed with companies and reflecting the changing corporate world, Nottingham Business School’s Business course is highly engaging, covers a broad range of management functions, processes and techniques. It is the ideal choice if you want to keep your options open and shape your career aspirations during your studies.
This course will equip you with an understanding of business theory and practice in today’s domestic and international business environment. All students will take part in a business simulation task, imitating the experience of running a business with a group of fellow students.
During your studies you will learn about the key facilities within business such as Operations, Marketing, Accounting and Finance to provide you with a comprehensive overview of how each of these functions impact real-world businesses across the globe.
The flexible nature of this degree means that if you decide that you want to specialise in a specific area you will have the opportunity to transfer to one of our Business Management Joint Honours degrees at the end of your first year.
During your second year you have a variety of unique opportunities to get involved in such as studying abroad, enterprise project, internship or simply continue with your studies. The course can be studied over three years full-time or four years with a placement.
