It was a no brainer to work with NTU, I was aware of the quality of their teaching, services and staff as well as being a creative force in higher education. Course
Level 6 Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying, plus Level 7 Architecture apprenticeships
Outcomes
Apprentices gain practical experience alongside formal qualifications and also develop skills in multiple disciplines, broadening career opportunities beyond their immediate role, which can lead to higher qualifications such as chartership and senior positions within the company
The practical experience that I’ve gained during my apprenticeship has provided skills beyond classroom learning and is preparing me for higher qualifications. The programme is challenging but rewarding, offering long- term professional benefits including enhancing career flexibility.

Business Need
We have 43 apprentices across our business so we can target upskilling in any one of our disciplines. Being levy payers, it makes good financial sense to utilise it for driving internal training, recruitment of young talent and business growth. It also allows us to embed company values early in the employee journey.

Our Approach
Partner with NTU on apprenticeship programmes in civil engineering and related disciplines, that offer apprentices a combination of workplace learning linked to formal education, via multiple modules and disciplines to broaden their understanding of live projects
