Skills Bootcamps – part of the Government's Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs – are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with a local employer.
About our skills bootcamps
Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is pleased to offer skills bootcamps which are 90% funded to up-skill individuals aged 19+ who are living or working in D2N2.
Funded by the Department for Education via the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership, our Level 4 and Level 5 bootcamps are designed to help develop the digital skills most in demand by businesses in the local area.
Employers can enrol their existing staff or new employees.
Details of our Skills Bootcamps will be confirmed later in 2021.

More support for SMEs
Productivity Through Innovation
Improving productivity is key to economic growth and it is important as a region that we utilise and share our innovations, knowledge, skills and talent. The PTI project works closely with businesses to achieve this.
Priority Skills for D2N2 SMEs
Do you work for an SME based in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire? You could develop your skills in leadership, sustainability, marketing or change management at no cost to your employer.
GRADS for D2N2
The GRADS for D2N2 project offers SMEs advice, support and funding to access and recruit graduate and apprenticeship talent, and enables them to put their voice at the heart of the curriculum by co-designing our courses.
