Our academic and technical teams can provide a broad range of training, from design skills and understanding materials and technology, to improving your business processes.

Whether you require software skills for fashion design, graphic design, animation, film or video, or team-building exercises related to creativity and idea generation, our colleagues are available to help.

We continually look to the future and can support your company in sustainable practices, consumer behaviour, big data analytics, and emerging retail trends.

We've supported local manufacturers in their appreciation of knitwear construction, worked with companies on fabric durability and care, and helped multinationals to optimise their design processes.

Language, media and broadcasting

Languages, media and broadcasting

Courses in English and modern foreign languages are available and can be tailored to your needs, as well as cultural studies within a business context for those working with clients around the world.

You might want your team to gain an appreciation of negotiation tactics, tone-of-voice, non-verbal communication, buying cultures in other countries, or a better understanding of how international clients approach gift-giving and make decisions.

These are important skills for anyone in business today.

We also offer media training courses for professionals working in the private and public sectors, and technical courses across a range of broadcasting platforms.

Take advantage of the specialist software studios and technical labs at our City Campus. Our experienced and enthusiastic tutors can provide training in BIM, Revit, CAD, and FEM, from beginner to expert level.

We've helped building companies better understand groundworks, estate manages improve their spatial design and planning skills, and equipped teachers with 3D software knowledge.

We can help integrate lean project management into your company and refresh skills in measurement for quantity surveying. Alternatively, explore design thinking, concept development and creativity, and improve the way your colleagues work as a team and can be more efficient in their processes.
