We are looking forward to welcoming you onto campus for the upcoming NTU Careers Fairs. We've put the following information together to help you get the most out of your experience.
Please note, this page may be updated closer to the time of the event.
Our top tips for attending a Careers Fair
Details about your organisation and opportunities are now available for students to research on our bespoke Careers Fair Dashboard. Your Employer Profile is the chance to stand out and make an impression with attendees before, during and after the event.
Our job portal is a free platform to advertise your vacancies on, and will be linked directly to your Employer Profile for students and graduates to easily find your opportunities. If you haven't already, your vacancies can be uploaded as follows:
For placement, graduate, volunteering, and internships – please upload your vacancies on our bespoke system MyEmployability.
For part-time jobs, email jobshop@ntu.ac.uk to start advertising.
There are a number of ways you can access our campuses, including tram, train or car. Please review the travel guidance in your joining instructions email attachment to plan your route accordingly.
Supporting materials
Delivery of exhibitor stand materials and literature should be considered in advance of the event to ensure timely arrival. Please refer to the attachment in your joining instructions email should you be arranging courier delivery or postage, as well as important information for on-the-day travel/unloading/collection of materials.
Competitions and prizes
Running a competition to encourage engagement with your stand can be a good way to attract students, however please be mindful of the type of prizes you are offering. We recommend avoiding products that are culturally sensitive, e.g. alcohol.

Our Embracing Sustainability at NTU Careers Fairs page outlines how we are continuing our commitment to address sustainability during the planning and delivery of our careers fair series. You can also find top tips and toolkits to help you work towards this priority.
The diversity of NTU students offers employers a wealth of attributes and experiences to enhance your business. We have students with at least 5 years' professional experience (MBA), undergraduate and postgraduate international cohorts who are sponsored by the University to undertake a year-long placement, plus many more unique minds who are ready to make a difference in their career.
For more information about recruiting international students and graduates, explore our employer guide.
Students’ employability journeys start on day one of their NTU experience. It’s therefore likely you will be approached by students from all year groups at your fair stand. We encourage stand representatives to be prepared with information covering more general guidance, industry insights or informal work experience opportunities, as well as the more traditional placement and graduate roles.
The NTU Professional Student Wardrobe, in partnership with White Rose, provides NTU students and graduates with free, professional clothing for career-related activities.
A simple way to support this project is by donating any pre-loved, sample or clearance stock. We've got donation boxes around each NTU campus, so please bring anything you would like to drop off during your visit to the careers fair. A member of the team will be able to direct you to the nearest donation box when you arrive.
