Context and principles
The need to introduce an actual adapting method depends upon both the individual or group involved and the aims of the situation.
The six components
The adapting components are a set of factors which provide a framework through which activities, games and sports can be adapted by instructors, teachers, coaches or volunteers.
Adapting a task
Once the activity, game or sport is adapted overall, the next challenge is to teach/instruct a specific task or skill. A basic way of achieving this is by task analysis.
Adapting spectrum
How adaptation can be viewed in a broader way and how different organisations utilise it for leisure, education and sports.
