Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19 across the world we will unfortunately be unable to run our international volunteering programmes this academic year.
What is the NTU Certificate in International Volunteering?
Volunteering overseas gives you the chance to work alongside your local and global community towards a shared goal, will enhance your life experience, and makes a great addition to your CV. But it’s more than just an overseas volunteering placement during your summer break.
The NTU International Volunteering Programme brings together students from across NTU and the global community, to volunteer with one of our five fantastic charity partners. The programme will educate you on how international volunteering relates to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and will equip you with best practices for volunteering overseas, both ethically and effectively.
This module will allow you to formalise the learning already embedded within the International Volunteering experience; you will be reflecting on the personal and professional development that you have gained in the form of skills, knowledge and experience, and will be expected to demonstrate a growing understanding of issues relating to volunteering in an international context.
Upon successful completion of the module requirements, you will receive additional certification, namely a L5 Certificate in International Volunteering (IV), as additional credits alongside a final degree classification certificate.
