We are looking to hire a Graduate Communications Marketing Assistant who is passionate about NTU, with a keen eye for detail and is a creative thinker.
Organisation unit: Campaigns
Department: Communications, Admissions, Marketing and Student Recruitment
Location: City Campus
Salary: £23,500 p.a.
NTU is a great place to work. We take care of our staff with flexible packages, career progression and opportunities. We value all our staff because we know that it takes a strong and diverse workforce to maintain the kind of success we have achieved.
The last two years have been full of prizes, publicity and recognition for the NTU community, culminating in our receipt of the prestigious University of the Year award. Along the way, we’ve recorded some of the highest student satisfaction levels in the country in the 2018 National Student Survey, and achieved the TEF Gold standard for the quality of our teaching. We are also extremely proud to have been named University of the Year 2019 by The Guardian.
At NTU we have huge ambitions to become the University of the Future and want you to be a part of that. We are looking to hire a Graduate Communications Marketing Assistant who is passionate about NTU, with a keen eye for detail and is a creative thinker. This role will be responsible for supporting the effective design and delivery of marketing campaigns across the University, helping us enhance our growing reputation and student recruitment.
This role is part of NTU’s Graduate Development Programme, offering you an extensive range of development opportunities. The programme is personalised and tailored to your skill set, to help you:
- improve your workplace skills
- advance your leadership skills
- build your confidence
- provide you with employment experience.
Please refer to the job description and person specification when completing your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements for the role.
Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-European Economic Area (EEA) candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the University is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test.
UK Visas and Immigration, part of the Home Office, requires employers to complete this test to show that no suitably qualified EEA or EU worker can fill the post.
For further information please visit the UK Visas and Immigration website.
Please email our team if you have any general queries in relation to the Graduate Development Programme or the requirements.
This is a Graduate Development Programme role available for a fixed term of 13 months. Applicants need to be current NTU students in their final year or have graduated from NTU within the last two years (2018 summer graduation).
