About the Centre
The Nottingham Law School teaching law firm Legal Advice Centre is based in the Chaucer building at Nottingham Trent University’s City campus.
Nottingham Law School initially established a Legal Advice Clinic back in 2006 to provide a free legal advice and referral service.
In 2014 we were delighted to launch our new Legal Advice Centre, which was officially opened by the Attorney General on 25 June. The Centre design ensures that rooms are available for the discussion of confidential issues and that privacy is maintained.
The Centre is fully regulated as an Alternative Business Structure by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and works closely with local firms, advice agencies, voluntary sector organisations and schools to develop pro bono opportunities for Nottingham Law School students.
All information is provided in the strictest confidence.
