About NLS Legal
NLS Legal, an exempt charity, is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTU and holds an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) licence from the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The firm is the only model of its kind in the UK, providing the opportunity for our students to obtain valuable work experience and develop their practical skills alongside their studies.
Legal advice and representation are offered on a pro bono basis to individuals and organisations that cannot access legal aid or afford legal representation across a large range of service areas, providing a vital service to the community.
NLS Legal is multi award-winning, and has received regional, national, and international recognition. We are proud to be celebrating our 10-year anniversary in 2025.
