Dive into British culture, sharpen your English, and explore one of the UK’s most historic and creative cities. This course will help you to build confidence in practical, real-world English while discovering the heritage, humour and everyday life of England.

Nottingham is a vibrant city with a rich heritage, making this the ideal place to have fun whilst building your confidence. Every day you’ll practise speaking, listening and presenting, meet new people from around the world, and step outside the classroom to explore what makes Nottingham unique.

This is not a grammar course; it’s a hands-on experience where you can get out of the classroom and explore English language and culture.

Students from all subjects are welcome as the course lets you follow your interests, from sport and art to food, fashion, history or music, and turn them into the focus of your final presentation, as communication and cultural awareness are essential skills in every profession.
