Entry requirements

Your qualification

You could study

Vitnemål fra den Videregående Skole / Vitnemål for videregående opplæring

Offers for undergraduate courses are made depending on the entry criteria of your chosen course. These will be stated in UCAS Tariff points.

As a guide we would look for:

  • 136- 104 UCAS Tariff points  =  4/6
  • 96- 48 UCAS Tariff points =  3.5/6

- Bachelor Degree (since 2003)
- Candidatus / Candidata Magisterii (until 2003)
- Siviløkonom (economics) or Sivilingeniør (engineering)

  • Grade B / 2.5 Laudabilis or equivalent = 2.i
  • Grade C / 3.2 Haud illaudabilis or equivalent = 2.ii

English language requirements

To meet the University's English language entry requirements you will need one of the following:

  • A score of 4 or above in English in the Vitnemål for videregående opplæring or Vitnemål fra den videregående skole is equivalent to IELTS 6.5.
  • An IELTS or other English language qualification accepted by the University at the appropriate grade.

Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
