On campus near other residences and the city centre, Gill Street North is an ideal choice if you’re at the City Campus. Most students at this gated residence have one of our 422 en suite bedrooms in a flat with up to eight bedrooms and a shared kitchen-dining room. Or maybe one of the 24 studio-style rooms on the fifth floor are more suitable for you? They are self-contained with their own little kitchen-dining area – you can share one of the two more cost-effective twin bed studios or have one all to yourself.
If you're a mature (21+) or postgraduate student the booking system will automatically show you suitable rooms, but if you have any queries please contact the Student Accommodation Services Team on 0115 848 2894.
Please note that some rooms at Gill Street North are subject to early buyback, which means that we reserve the right to buy your room back from you from the 38th week of your agreement. You’ll find more details about this during the booking process.
Please also note that we unfortunately aren’t able to permit Gill Street North residents to bring a car.
Home at Halls social programme
Your experience in halls is about more than just a room. The Home at Halls programme – centred around UPP’s halls, gives access to 150+ free events including weekly socials, ‘do it together’ activity kits, celebrity speakers, cultural events, life skill sessions, competitions and giveaways. It's a great way to meet new people and try new things.
NTU Talks brings you seminars with well-known names. In the 2022/23 academic year, guests included Jamie Laing, Dr Alex George and GK Barry. It's a brilliant way to discuss important topics such as university life, business and mental health.
