A nice accommodation to stay in if you're a social person. Good size room with good storage. Facilities are overall pretty good. Great location easy to walk to lectures and into the city. Very expensive for what it is but worth it to easily meet new people when you move in.
Amazing WiFi, clean comfortable albeit a little small in terms of rooms, nice kitchen space
It is a bit expensive compared to other accommodations which have double beds. Location is good as it’s right by the campus and city. Isn’t many social spaces like a games room or gym but I guess it’s not private
Really good living space with great kitchen to socialise with friends while also being so so close to city centre
Good accommodation, friendly staff always happy help. Fantastic location in terms of distance to university buildings aswell as city centre attractions
Never had any problems. Security can be approached at any time for any problems you might have at the reception.
I may be biased because I've been very lucky with my flatmates, however living in Gill Street South has been a dream and I'm so gutted to have to leave at the end of this year. The staff are lovely and it's an incredibly safe area to be around due to security and being so close to the Student Union. It's an amazing location as it's in the heart of the city and perfect for someone who loves to go out whether that be clubbing or into town to do some shopping.
was a great place to live and i was lucky enough to get along well with my flatmates at the time
Nice modern space but the shower is a wet room which is an inconvenience
Great WiFi and we had a cleaner which was amazing
Amazing location ! its a lovely accommodation however due to it being one of the most expensive accommodations i don’t think it’s worth the amount of money you pay
Perfect for attending NTU, such a close distance to the campus and into town, which is really great for when you’re attending social events as it’s such a close distance to everything, the room itself is ideal, it is small but there’s actually plenty of storage for the size of the room. I was in a flat of 10, but our kitchen was massive so it actually worked out really well and again good storage in the kitchen.
I loved living in Gill Street South in first year. Our kitchen was always cleaned by either ourselves or staff which, as there were 10 of us, was very handy. The rooms and kitchen were all very modern and I felt very safe with all the locking gate systems. I didn’t socialise much outside of my own flat and therefore I think there could have been some sort of event that gets everyone together rather than us all mingling outside when the fire alarms went off!
Very expensive, but has all the qualities you need Feels very safe Staff always on site to help
This halls and Byron were by far the best halls
The accommodation is amazing, everyone I’ve met and know wishes they stayed here, the facilities are great. I always feel safe and enjoy myself.
