It has been a great experience overall. The studios allow you to have your own space and being on campus makes it easier for lessons.
Very quiet, safe and comfortable environment.
Had a good time. The point is right outside building and gym is 2 minute walk
Stayed here for both my first and second year of university and would recommend to any new students. While it is a little more pricey it’s definitely worth it as maintenance is almost immediate, weekly kitchen cleans and lovely modern rooms
Great balance of comfort. location and value - would definitely recommend.
Overall amazing campus, the accommodation is very nice and gives you a personal space to thrive in. I think the staff make it that bit more enjoyable, being friendly and present. I personally have asked the maintenance team loads and nothing has ever been too much of an ask and is attended to straight away. Overall I have enjoyed my experience here and would recommend it to anyone coming to NTU, and will miss it when I do eventually leave
Living in new halls has been a great experience. Extremely close to all my lectures and a nice community. Cleaners always do a great job and problems are fixed promptly.
It was very easy to meet people in freshers which was the main thing for me
I have thoroughly enjoyed my last year at new hall, the friendly staff have kept everything running perfectly all year and I have met some amazing friends.
New hall has been a lovely introduction into University life as it allowed me to build relationships with people from all over the accommodation which makes going into lectures easier as there’s familiar faces.
I recently burnt the carpet in my accommodation and I need to pay for repair sadly. So I really need to win this voucher if possible to sell to my friend cause I need the money due to financial instability and my parents can’t even afford the money for the repair.
In my opinion New Hall is the best accommodation option for students at Clifton Campus. Location is incredibly convenient as it's just a two minute walk from all campus facilities. There's also a great place to socialise right on campus. The support provided to residents is also incredible, from cleaning to reception really adds to the overall experience. The only downside is the on campus shop, the closing times are really early especially around Easter, and the range of products are a bit limited. Still, overall New Hall is a great place to live and makes student life much easier.
pretty decent halls, would love it if I could have seen which building is where when I went to book on last summer
The overall experience was pretty good for a studio, made good friends.
Very well kept and felt safe during my stay. Staff were nice and issues which arised were dealt with in a timely fashion. Only potential issue is being the times which the bins are collected, my room is right by one of the bin sheds and I have had bin lorries coming round at 5 o'clock in the morning waking me up. I understand this may not be up to the university but it is my only complaint with the accommodation
I have loved living in this accommodation. It’s a safe and secure location with staff and security around to ensure that all students feel comfortable.
