DJ workshops
Whether you're simply a music lover curious to give it a go or an aspiring DJ taking your first steps towards playing in front of crowds, our intensive three-week DJing course will help you learn the basics.
Led by DJ/producer Joni Newham, expect a relaxed, welcoming and sociable environment. Booking in advance is essential as places are limited.
Week One:
We'll cover the basics of playing and manipulating tracks and take you through your first mix between two songs.
Week Two:
You'll train your ears to be able to sync tracks without any visual aid – a skill that's indispensable whether you're DJing digitally or with vinyl records.
Week Three:
You'll develop your ability to use EQ and effects to process the tracks you're playing and get creative with how you blend between songs.
