NTU Entrepreneurs Club
If you've got an interest in entrepreneurship, you can meet like-minded self-starters and gather guidance and contacts at our Entrepreneurs Club. It doesn't cost anything to join, and offers events and socials for those looking to start a business with a difference. These range from advice on crowd funding to app development. You don't even need to have an idea to get involved.
Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards
Santander Universities hosts an annual business pitching competition called the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards. Participants from Santander's partner universities compete for a share of £90,000 worth of equity-free seed funding, mentoring and support.
NACUE TATA Varsity Pitch Competition
The concept of the NACUE TATA Varsity Pitch competition is to actively support early stage students and graduate startups throughout their entrepreneurial journey, providing them with access to support, mentors and the opportunity to compete for a prize pot of £15,000.
Enterprise Nation: Next Generation
The Next Generation Awards powered by Enterprise Trust, provide aspiring entrepreneurs aged 16-30 the opportunity to pitch their business idea in front of a panel of expert judges and win business prizes including £2,500 cash investment.
Every year IPSE searches for the UK’s best independent professionals that represent the expertise and diversity of freelancing. Categories include Young Freelancers of the year for under 23 year olds, Freelancer of the Year for established freelancers as well as awards for the best co-working spaces and universities for the self-employed to look out for.
Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs
The DBACE programme aims to enable and celebrate creative entrepreneurship for social good led by 18-30-year olds in the UK today. In 2019, the bank is working with MeWe360 to find the best young talent wanting to drive positive social impact through their creative enterprise.
£50,000 prize fund, £100,000 worth of business support, 5 winners.
RSOC – Emerging Technologies
The RSOC annual innovation competition supports early-stage companies and academic entrepreneurs with the commercialisation of their technologies in the fields of health, materials, energy and food. Offering £10,000 and world-class mentoring and support, including a Cambridge Judge Business School Entrepreneurship Education Weekend for shortlisted entrants.
