Role

Under my role, I’m a part time Lecturer and a part time PhD student.

In my Lecturer role, I mainly teach Mobile application development across three different modules in multiple programming languages. I also have a background in Networking and have taught introductory networking too.

In my PhD role, my research mainly entails communications within Internet-less environments, such as rural areas and farms. My research aims to being advancing technologies to these connectionless environments, including Machine Learning and Edge Computing.

Research areas

My research area is within Pervasive Computing within areas with poor connectivity, investigating how we can bring state-of-the-art technologies to these rural areas. The focus of this is within Livestock farming, helping farmers gather valuable insights about their animals.
