James is a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Practice and Emergency Care. He teaches across all the paramedicine courses, alongside leading on the complex and specialist issues module.
Career overview
James has extensive experience in the pre-hospital care setting, having worked with a variety of NHS Ambulance Trusts, alongside working within the private sphere covering a variety of sporting events and large scale public events. James has developed experience in education having worked on apprenticeship pathways within ambulance trusts, prior to commencing employment within the higher education setting.
Research areas
James is currently working as part of a team completing a scoping review exploring the experiences of student paramedics and their exposure to violence.
