Congratulations on your offer!

Accepting your offer to study Fine Art at NTU means joining a thriving community of makers, thinkers and experimenters. Here, you’ll push creative boundaries, explore new ideas, and develop an artistic voice that’s unmistakably your own. Whether you’re drawn to traditional processes, contemporary practice or interdisciplinary work, this is where your journey as a professional artist begins.

Why accept your offer?

From day one, you’ll explore a huge range of mediums including painting, sculpture, installation, performance, digital art and more. You’ll have the freedom to take risks, challenge conventions and refine a creative practice that truly represents you. Through tutorials, critiques and hands-on workshops, you’ll grow your confidence as an independent artist.

This is your opportunity to showcase your work. With exhibitions, live briefs, community projects and collaborations across the Nottingham School of Art & Design, you’ll build a professional profile before you graduate. You’ll also learn directly from practising artists, curators and creative professionals who understand today’s arts landscape and help prepare you for a career in the creative industries.

You’ll have access to large-scale studios, individual workspaces, fabrication workshops, digital labs, printmaking facilities, and equipment for sculpture, moving image, sound, and performance. These industry-standard spaces allow you to experiment with materials, explore new technologies and bring ambitious concepts to life.

Nottingham’s independent galleries, artist-led spaces, festivals and live events offer endless inspiration, and plenty of opportunities to get involved. With an active creative community and strong cultural roots, it’s the perfect place to grow, create and begin building your artistic network.
