Inderpal Rahal Memorial Trust

The Inderpal Rahal Memorial Trust provides up to two awards of £2,000 to enable women experiencing financial hardship to further their legal education. The award is designed for women from an immigrant or refugee background who intend to practise or teach law in the UK. Applicants should be undertaking or pursuing the BTC, legal research, training contract, pupillage, or other legal placement.

The Law Society Diversity Access Scheme (DAS)

The Law Society DAS aims to increase social diversity in the legal profession by supporting promising entrants from disadvantaged backgrounds or those who face exceptional obstacles to qualification.

LLM Study

Inns of Court Scholarships

The Inns of Court are offering a combined total of over £600,000 worth of scholarships to students who want to convert to Law and study the Graduate Diploma in Law. More information and application details can be found on the Inn's websites:

You will also need to ensure that you comply fully with any attendance and/or submission requirements of the course.

All of our Master's in Law (LLMs) qualify for the government's postgraduate loans.

If you live in England, you can apply for a loan to help with course fees and living costs.

Funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), Commonwealth Shared Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK. It is currently only available for those studying LLM Health Law.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from less developed and lower middle-income Commonwealth countries, for full-time Master’s study on selected courses, jointly supported by UK universities.
