Engineering Materials Research Laboratory

The Engineering Materials Research Laboratory is a core teaching space where first‑year biomedical engineering students develop essential chemistry and materials science skills using specialised analytical and electrochemical equipment.

About the facility

Housing fume hoods, microscopes, digital pH meters and electrochemistry equipment. This lab is the primary lab for first year biomedical engineering students. It is where students learn the basic chemistry and material science skills needed in the later part of their courses.
