I enjoy the level of autonomy we are encouraged to have on the course. I think it is a helpful tool in teaching and building great designers.

More about Tomi

Why did you choose NTU and your course?

There were a few reasons why I chose NTU, but I have to say the main reason was the space and environment in which I study. The Arkwright building and studio space won me over on an open day.

What is the best thing about your course?

Apart from not having exams, I enjoy the level of autonomy we are encouraged to have on the course. I think it is a helpful tool in teaching and building great designers.

Have you been involved in any live projects or exciting briefs?

I have been involved in a couple of live projects on my course. The main thing that stood out was the easy access we were given to industry experts. It enabled us to get industry style feedback on our work, a valued experience.

What do you think makes NTU a top university?

I think the people and staff at NTU are really what make it a top university. The tutors are great and have a lot of experience under their belt and are able to teach and pass on their knowledge.

What’s next for you after NTU?

My plan after NTU is to have and establish a business. I am also planning on studying at postgraduate level in the future.
