More about Anna
“NTU offers a range of art and design courses and I was happy to discover the perfect course for me. Design for Film and Television offers the opportunity to learn specific skills needed to go into the art department of the film and TV industry.
“Since starting the course I have learnt something new every day. It is an unusual course which offers an insight into the exciting world of film and TV from tutors who have been in the industry themselves.
“We were fortunate enough to have Sarah Greenwood present some of the work she has worked on in films including the Atonement, Sherlock Holmes and Pride and Prejudice. It was invaluable to hear from someone who has had such success in the industry and worked on big budget productions.
“Throughout my three years at NTU the course has provided me with several week long work placements on film and TV productions ranging from E4 comedies to BBC period dramas. It is really exciting seeing the sets and observing how the different teams and departments work together. I have assisted with set dressing, prop making and graphics – I have loved contributing to the productions and later seeing them on TV.”
