What made you choose to come to NTU?
"Last year I went to visit London and I loved it, and this year I had the opportunity to do an exchange study program so I decided to try a new city in the UK, and NTU had the course that I really wanted to."
What do you enjoy most about your course?
"I love that we learn in a very practical way. We have the opportunity to try loads of different equipment with our own hands, and explore all the different filmmaking roles."
Can you tell us about any projects or trips you have been on so far?
"In the filmmaking industry, you need to know how to work as a team and that everyone has their specific focus. After our residential filming trip to the Peak District, I felt that it was one of my best experiences - it pulled everyone together and united us. Now my course is stronger than it has ever been. We had every meal together during those days, and I felt that we were really working as professionals."
What is the most valuable thing you have learnt from your course at NTU so far?
"It's no use having the best tools if you do not know how to work with them. So if you want to be as good as the tools you have, learn how to use them properly, and practise a lot."
Has the course included any exciting activities so far?
"In the first few weeks of being at NTU, we had the opportunity to go to the cinema to see a David Jackson movie, and then we also had access to part of the script, which helped us to realise how everything works. And the movie was really good!"
In a nutshell, why would you recommend NTU?
"I would recommend this course because it is very practical, and the facilities and equipment available to us are great. For this reason there is much more motivation. And we have very good professional tutors to teach us, from whom we can learn a lot. They make us work really hard and they are very supportive."
