What made you choose to study at NTU?
“It took a long time to decide where to study abroad in the UK, but when I found out about this one year top-up course, I knew it was what I needed for my career.”

What do you enjoy most about your course?
“I enjoy the lectures from industry professionals because they offer valuable insights for working in the UK.”

Has the course included any live projects or briefs?
“The brief in the marketing module has been an interesting project because we created a collaboration between a new film and fashion company. I enjoyed this because it combines creativity as well as analytical theories.”

Has the course included any speakers from industry?
“One of the owners of a local brand provided a lecture to us about fashion buying that I found extremely relevant and interesting.”

What do you think about the course staff?
“The staff are welcoming and helpful.”

As an international student, what do you like about studying and living in Nottingham?
“What I love most about Nottingham is the night life, restaurant options, and ease of transportation to these places. This has been extremely helpful while getting used to the cold weather!”

“I would recommend my course to anyone who has a particular dream job in mind, because it will give you the tools to develop your interests in a constructive and comprehensive way.”

Where do you hope to be in five years’ time?
“I hope to be working for a sustainable clothing brand while raising awareness for the incredible need for change in the fashion industry.”

“I found NTU through researching about sustainable universities in the UK that offer fashion related courses.”

“I found out through the financial aid section of the online system. When I was awarded the scholarship, I felt proud of my hard work and determination.”
