What made you choose to study at NTU?
“The School of Art & Design at NTU is one of the most recognisable in the UK, with BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion being a particularly reputable course with great employability rates.”

What did you enjoy most about your course?
"Working on live projects with real brands was exciting and a great way to give context to our projects”

Could you tell us a little bit about what you’ve been up to since graduating from the course?
“I am currently the manager of COW Vintage in Hockley. One particular project I have been working on is collaborating with the current students of FCP on our visual merchandising and window displays.”

How did BA (Hons) Fashion Communication and Promotion help you to secure your current role?
“The course provided me with a wealth of transferrable skills which helped me progress quickly through the company, being promoted twice within a year. The projects in my portfolio which I showcased at my interview showed creativity, teamwork and leadership skills which definitely were most important in securing my job role.”

What was the most valuable thing you learnt from your course at NTU?
“One of the most valuable things the course taught me was the importance of self-promotion, and how to do it properly! This included lectures and seminars on CVs, websites and online presence, portfolios and business cards. These are lifelong skills!”

Why would you recommend your course and NTU to someone looking to study in that area?
“NTU is such a fun, welcoming and friendly university. The social life is fantastic and the campus is modern with great facilities. Fashion Communication and Promotion is a challenging course but it provides you with so many transferrable skills and produces really employable graduates.”
