What I enjoy most about my course is the teaching staff.  I feel that I am surrounded by people who know their work well and are passionate about what they do.

More about Maria

“After finishing a degree in architecture I wanted to pursue my true passion – animation.  I had heard of NTU before, and after visiting one of the open days I decided that this was where I wanted to study.  The city centre location, the facilities, but most importantly the welcoming staff who made me feel very comfortable.

“What I enjoy most about my course is the teaching staff.  I feel that I am surrounded by people who know their work well and are passionate about what they do.  In turn they help and inspire me to do my best and are always there to assist my understanding of new material, techniques and the improvement of my skills.

“The University provides all sorts of drawing equipment, from pens and paper to the more advance drawing Cintiqs where we can familiarise ourselves with digital drawing and various software.  There is also an art shop right on campus which stocks all sorts of art and drawing-related materials.

“I love the fact that the campus is in the city centre and close to all the hotspots.  Nottingham is a great student city and there is always something going on."
