What do you enjoy most about our International Fashion Business course?
"I enjoy the fast pace of the course, there is so much useful information to take in. The University provides amazing support and brilliant facilities too."

Can you tell us about one of the live briefs you have really enjoyed?
"Our first module included a live brief with John Smedley, so it felt like I was being thrown in the deep end, but I really enjoyed learning about the technical aspects of knitwear. This project was also a competition with the winner going on to work for the company. This actually ended up being one of the girls I was friends with and she now works for John Smedley and loves it."

What has been the highlight during your studies?
"I loved meeting all the international students and learning from the lecturers, who are all such characters. Everyone at NTU is so lovely and Nottingham is the perfect student city."

How do you think studying International Fashion Business has prepared you for your future career?
"Before I started studying on this course I felt I had failed; my previous foundation degree did not prepare me for a career whatsoever. Without NTU I would have never known how to interview well, how to create an outstanding CV and more importantly have the skills to go with it."

How do you find the course staff?
"The support is phenomenal and I still email the staff now about interviews and how I'm doing in my jobs. Having such a mix of both academic and creative lecturers is amazing, they are all so talented, understanding and supportive."

Why would you recommend studying International Fashion Business at NTU?
"Nottingham is the perfect place to be a student. It is very student orientated with so many amazing independent cafés, bars, shops. I feel it's great for the creative industry without being expensive like London.

"Studying International Fashion Business has given me the confidence and skills I need to take my career forward. It genuinely is the best course and it has certainly exceeded my expectations."

Where do you hope to be in five years' time?
"In five years' time I would like to a trend forecaster, or have started my own business in wearable tech or trend forecasting."
