“The employability team have been incredibly helpful to me as a business owner in looking at recruitment to my company.”

What job are you currently doing and what does it involve?

“Founder and Director of Bentley Project Management.  The business provides project and cost management consultancy services within the construction industry.”

Are there any skills you gained at NTU that you now use every day?

“Managing workloads and prioritising activities is a key part of my everyday working life.  This was something I gained a lot of experience of at NTU, as I needed to juggle my studies with my professional career.”

What would your advice be to those who have recently graduated and are looking for roles?

“Do not be afraid to put yourself out there. Opportunities are often created by listening to your peers and making yourself known to companies who you would like to work for. I have personally gone on to hire a postgraduate NTU student who introduced himself to us on a site visit to my business.”
