How would you rate the course facilities and why?

In terms of course facilities, I have been thoroughly impressed by what this university has to offer. The library is simply amazing, with state-of-the-art technology and ample study spaces that make learning and research a breeze. The poster rooms are another highlight, providing a professional setting for presenting our work, and the laptop borrowing service and projectors with sounds have proven invaluable for collaborative work and classroom presentations.

What is your favourite thing about your course?

There are so many things I love about my course, but I think the standout feature is the range of engaging and interactive learning experiences it provides. We have the opportunity to work with real businesses, create poster and video presentations, deliver podcasts, and design our own business ideas, all of which have been incredibly enriching and fulfilling. Additionally, the course provides ample opportunities to develop our leadership and networking skills through various business activities, which has been invaluable in enhancing our professional competencies.

One of the most unique and rewarding experiences I had during my academic career was my exchange study program in Chicago, where I had the opportunity to work with a philanthropy organisation and provide business solutions to clients. This experience allowed me to apply my academic knowledge to real-world challenges and provided me with invaluable experience in working with clients and developing innovative solutions to complex problems. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with such a meaningful organisation, and the experience has had a profound impact on my professional aspirations.

And having Mr. Paul Wreaves as our course leader has been a true honour — his knowledge, experience, and guidance have been an absolute asset to our learning experience.

Have you taken part in academic mentoring? What has this role involved?

I have taken part in academic mentoring during my course, and I found it to be a highly rewarding experience. As someone who excelled academically, I was able to provide feedback and advice to my classmates who were struggling with certain concepts. This role involved providing support and guidance to my peers, and helping them to develop their understanding and skills in certain areas. Being able to help my classmates achieve their academic goals was incredibly satisfying, and I believe it also helped to strengthen the sense of community within our class.

Have you had the option to personalise your course? How has this benefitted your studies?

Personalising my course was an incredibly valuable experience for me. I was able to work on my own business ideas, which allowed me to explore the topics that interested me most in greater depth. Specifically, I focused on marketing, financing, and value chain aspects of business. This approach was incredibly beneficial to my studies, as it allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the topics that were most relevant to my future career aspirations. The opportunity to personalise my course was a true highlight of my academic experience, and I am grateful for the chance to tailor my studies in this way.
