We’re celebrating again having been named The Times and Sunday Times Modern University of the Year.
The award recognises NTU for our strong student satisfaction, our quality of teaching, the overall student experience, and our engagement with employers. According to the National Student Survey 2017, 93% of our recent graduates would recommend studying at NTU, whilst 96% of our undergraduates are in work or further study within six months of finishing their degrees (DLHE 2015-16).
We also achieved our highest-ever position in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide league table.
The university has been shortlisted for the ‘University of the Year’ title in the upcoming Times Higher Education Awards.
NTU also achieved ‘gold’ rating in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework, and a satisfaction score of 89% in the National Student Survey - the fifth highest score amongst mainstream universities.
In May, The Guardian University Guide 2018 announced that NTU had climbed 19 places to 34th place – one of the biggest climbs made by a university.
It’s been a great year for NTU, but the awards don’t stop there. Visit our awards page to find more stories about our award winning students and academics, courses and facilities, and see how by choosing NTU, you could share in our success.
