WRAP Featured Writers
We're thrilled to welcome poetry collective 4 BROWN GIRLS WHO WRITE for Term Three. They'll be delivering two special workshops to help students and staff develop their writing and performance skills.
This term's featured writers are 4 BROWN GIRLS WHO WRITE (4BGWW), a London-based poetry collective consisting of Sheena Patel, Sharan Hunjan, Roshni Goyate and Sunnah Khan. The four women are all talented poets and performers in their own right.
Since forming the collective in 2017, 4BGWW have become known for their radical, polyphonic performance style. Their debut poetry collection was published by FEM Press in 2018 and this year they released new work with a series of four pamphlets from Rough Trade Books.
Don't miss 4BGWW at the upcoming WRAP events:
- Thursday 13 May — Writing and Performance Skills Workshop. 4BGWW take over our weekly Evening Writing workshop to deliver a special event on writing and performance. This event is open to all NTU students and staff.
- Thursday 20 May — Writing and Performance Skills Workshop. In this event exclusively for NTU students, aspiring writers will have another opportunity to develop their skills with the support of 4BGWW.
- Thursday 3 June — WRAP Live! Student Showcase. Join us live and online at Metronome, as 4BGWW make a special appearance at our first ever student showcase. Featuring performances by our talented student writers.
