Quite a nice student accommodation but can be very loud, a lot of residents in one flat. Also had instances of mould.
A very nice accommodation with regular cleaning and safe parcel collection. There is an amazon locker behind the building as well as a Royal Mail locker across the street, and it's a five minute walk to a postbox. Close to the uni buildings that I use (all within five minutes) and very secure. Being on the first floor takes four presses of your key fob and your room individually locks too. Few social spaces including the shared kitchens and the reception sofas, but altogether a nice, safe, steady accommodation.
It’s an amazing from a social point of view however, when ur paying quite a bit you expect not to have to deal with things constantly stopping working, and not being allowed to use the lift is annoying. However It’s a great student accommodation.
All good; there were problems sometimes, but they were always fixed pretty quickly, and the team at the building was always great.
Accommodations were smaller than I’m used to but perfectly adequate for a university student
I loved living in a big flat, as it meant out of the big group, you are bound to find your people. For me I made a really close group with six people, if I was in a smaller flat then who knows if I’d get on with all six, but this worked really well for me. It’s super social and a great location, in my opinion it’s the best option for a reasonable price and great social life! I love my time at Sandby
Best place for first years, staff are helpful with any situation, really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys social settings. Location is amazing and facilities in the accommodation are great!
Lovely space and great location! However a lot of money considering sharing a kitchen with 28 people… Not what I expect from student housing since it should be affordable. Great quick service with repairs though! Only problem is cleanliness in kitchen
Living in student halls has been such a fun and memorable part of my university experience. It made it so easy to meet people and build friendships, especially during the first few weeks. There was always someone around to chat with, cook dinner together or just hang out after class. Being so close to everything like lectures, the library and the city was really convenient. The shared spaces made it feel like a little community. It definitely helped me feel more settled and supported, especially in a new environment.
Was ideal location 5 minutes from the uni, 24/7 security, cheap
Came with problems but we're easily sorted, could be cheaper for what we get but the social life is great
Perfect budget accommodation, and made it very easy to make friends with such a big flat. The kitchen turned into our social area and was a place where we could sit and enjoy eachothers company. The staff in the building were helpful but often took a while to reply to issues. Location is absolutely perfect being a 1 minute walk away from the student union and in walking distance of the library and other university buildings.
The halls were great value for money, regularly cleaned, the kitchens as the social spaces did feel small and not the best place to hang out however there was plenty of events held and the wifi was fast.
A really good community in Sandby, with all the people that can be met, the location is perfect for my course as it requires very little commuting. All the facilities do the job and the only downside is that a couple of the receptionists are consistently grumpy.
