Event details
This event will feature leading industry professionals, alongside past and current ADBE students, who will share their networking experiences, top tips for success, and insights into how building connections can support career development, boost confidence, and reduce imposter syndrome. Key career-building initiatives, including the NTU Black Leadership Programme and the Fortitude International Mentorship programme, will also be discussed.

- Tim Onyenobi, a Chartered Architect, RIBA Council Member, Manchester Society of Architects Council Member and RIBA Inspiring Architect 2018 BHM
- Nelly Twimasi-Mensah MRICS, Visiting Fellow
After the talks, refreshments will be available, allowing you to practice networking with industry guests and fellow students.
This session provides an excellent opportunity to prepare for the Built Environment Fair the following day, helping you build confidence and refine your approach to engaging with employers.

University car parks on our City Campus are not open to visitors, but there are a number of public car parks nearby.
The website below gives details on car parking within Nottingham. The Forest Park and Ride tram service is particularly convenient and is always popular with visitors.
Parking for people with disabilities will be accommodated on the campus if possible.

Travel Info:
The Nottingham Express Transit (NET) tram stops on our University’s City Campus, providing a convenient link from the railway station and the area around Broadmarsh Bus Station redevelopment.
There are also several park and ride stops along the route, which provide convenient places to park when visiting the University. The Phoenix Park Park and Ride site is close to Junction 26 of the M1 and the Forest Park and Ride site is near to the city centre.
